Amazon is yet to break out as a major game developer, it’s efforts have so far been limited to mobile devices and it’s becoming clear that the company is not content with that. Amazon Game Studios has been working hard to make a name for itself in the gaming community and the next project that it’s working on just might aid in that objective. The studio is hiring new talent for what it calls an “ambitious new PC game project” which will use the latest technology.

Since this information comes from a job post it’s too soon to say at this point in time what the company’s first “ambitious” title for PC is going to look like, and exactly what the story is going to be.

I got a feeling this would be a VR game, or motion game. But, hopefully, this would be a traditional PC game where you can play it with a keyboard and mouse, or controller, and use a monitor to view it.

hope for neither, don't care for motion or VR.

Wait, Amazon makes mobile games? :ermm: Hmm... This is new to me... I guess I haven't followed Amazon's rise in the technology world too much... Which big name developers do they have?
Amazon owns Double Helix Games which is the maker of Earthworm Jim,”
“Sacrifice, MDK” and “Enter the Matrix,” while The Collective had previously put out titles like “Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb,” “Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith,” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”

I am totally agree with that the Amazon Game Studios has been working hard to make a name for itself in the gaming community. The business of Publishing Games for Amazon Kindle  Devices are growing up 150% every year. "Can You Believe That..!!" Amazon is going to steal a huge percentage of market share in both mobile and console games.

I don't know much about Amazon games. If they're successful at mobile games, that's wonderful, but mobile gaming is a different industry standard than PC gaming. If they intend to use the same production tactics they use for their mobile games for the PC market, I think they may fail. Of course, I am not a software development analyst, though my thoughts here are not unfounded either.

Another thing is, is Amazon going to be creating mobile-converted games over to PC or are they going to create actual AAA titles for the PC?
