The 80s, 90s and early 2000 I will always say gaming was golden. But IGN has come up with ten reasons why games in the 80s is better than they are now, do you agree?

I have to agree with all ten.

Number 1 is stupid. The guy obviously never played Ninja Gaiden. Anyway, games now are far superior. They are longer, better plots, better graphics, smoother music, online multiplayer, trophies, etc.

too long if you ask me, agree with plots, no question on the graphics, ehhh, music is better sounding but that's it, online is nice but not perfect, trophies are nice to have.

I'm surprise that IGN did not say characters, story and plot for older games being better, and more relateable.

Plus, there also seem to be less old games like Pac-Man and Mario with political messages in it like some Army Shooter games these days which have political messages.

20 hours is the average. That isn't very long... And it depends on the genre too. Final Fantasy XIII takes 50 hours, Black Ops II takes 5, Assassin's Creed takes 15, and Red Dead takes 20.
