What 11-year old hates playing videogames? One that already graduated from college.
Moshe Kai Cavalin, 11, graduated with honors from East Los Angeles Community College this past week, according to NBC. The story also says he idolizes Albert Einstein and Bruce Lee. That's quite remarkable for someone his age.
But when it comes to videogames, however, Cavalin isn't of the same mindset as most people his age.
"I feel it's a waste of time playing video games because it's not helping humanity in any way."
Woah. Slow down there, kiddo. I think we all can agree video games aren't at the forefront of progressing human life, but to dismiss the industry entirely?
Clearly he's never heard or seen Sony's Folding @ Home computing program, Nintendo's new emphasis on fitness gaming, or Microsoft's revolutionary Project Natal camera.
Maybe his mother should send him to summer school.
More on this story
I can't say that he's right or wrong, but he should look into games like Wii Fit and Wii Sports, those games do encourage others to live a healthy lifestyle and the statistics prove this to be a factor.
