Congrats to Nick. Wow, 30 million dollars for an App which summerizes the news.

But, I kind of feel that he should of stuck with running the App himself, created a company, and see where it goes in the future instead of selling it for 30 million dollars to Yahoo since I think Yahoo may ruin the app, or the community which uses the App like how Yahoo ruined Geocities which was once very popular, and now dead, or Flckr, Yahoo Mail, and Yahoo Groups which are now all losing to more popular sites like Facebook.

I personally like Flipboard and Feedly for Android because it displays an entire article in an easy to read digital magazine format.

I just wish I had that smarts.

It was probably much more practical for him to sell it. It would have cost him a lot just to make the company viable, and there was always the risk that it didn't work as well as expected. And also now that he has funds he will be able to work on something else create new apps that will commercialize himself.

Instagram which has zero revenue sold for 1 billion to Facebook, so if he look for other buyers which are richer than Yahoo, he might of gotten more, or at least sold his app to a more relevant company like Twitter, and Facebook which actually is doing well, and not slowly being less relevant, and forgotten like Yahoo.
