Just read from CBR and twitter:
Norm Spencer, who voiced Scott Summers/Cyclops on X-Men: The Animated Series, has passed away.
X-Men: The Animated Series debuted in 1992 and ran for five seasons and 76 episodes, concluding in 1997. During its run, the show garnered impressive ratings, and it -- along with Batman: The Animated Series -- were credited with spawning what would be a major wave of comic book-inspired animated series. It also helped pave the way for 2000's live-action X-Men film.
In addition to voicing Cyclops in X-Men: The Animated Series, Spencer voiced the character in two episodes of Spider-Man: The Animated Series, as well as the X-Men video games X-Men: Children of the Atom, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter and Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes.
