Set for Japanese release in March, the two gigabyte card looks just like the current first party 512 megabyte card, complete with the Nintendo logo. That logo would normally indicate superior quality, but here it probably doesn't mean much since this is just a standard SD card.
Nintendo lists the price for the new card as "open," meaning Japanese retailers will set the pricing on their own based off competitive factors. The current 512 megabyte card sells in Japan for 3,800 yen, but will be switched over to open pricing as well on March 2.
