Does anyone else have a 2-in-1 laptop? If so, do you use it a lot in tablet mode? I have a HP Envy x360 and I love that I have the ability to use it as a tablet with the touchscreen as well. It's my favourite piece of technology even though I actually don't use the tablet mode much. It's just nice to have it as a feature.

This is an image of my laptop in tablet mode (viewing one of my favourite sites :p )

As someone who had to sell those for three years on two different brands let me be very clear on this... *ahem*

DO NOT BUUUUUY!

Ash kingcool52 I swear to the gaming gods I hope you got extended accidental warranty on that laptop, see those metal clasps that connect the screen to the keyboard? Yeah, those are where all the monitor wires run to the screen and those wires will get damaged eventually (quickest I've seen is six months, longest being 2 years before a customer came back screaming mad because the screen was dead) so you will not want to open and close that often, I recommend placing the screen in one position and never touch it again.

Not trying to freak you out, but I'm speaking from a lot of experience and angry customers that were in my face.

That's not great to hear. Luckily, I bought it mainly for the touchscreen and I don't care about the tablet mode too much. I think I've used it as a tablet about 3-4 times.

I like how thin and modern your 2-in-1 laptop look. The new HP logo on your laptop look better than the older HP logo with a Circle background around the HP brand name.

Windows tablets improve a lot. I saw someone use a Windows XP tablet laptop which also fold into tablet mode, and the owner had a stylus pen for writing notes, hand writing recognition, and drawing. The Windows XP laptop tablet was thicker, but look pretty durable like many Windows XP laptops from the oast.

I have a mini-laptop which is detachable.
I don't usually use it in tablet mode but I thought it could be useful at some point.

I feel the touchscreen LCD on 2-in-1 laptops can be very useful for using the touchscreen keyboard app when a laptop keyboard and touchpad stop working because of a computer virus which disabled the keyboard, keyboard hardware driver software problem, mechanical and electrical connection problem with the keyboard, and physical damage from someone, an animal or something hitting the keyboard very hard.

The keyboard can also get broken, lost or stolen with 2-in-1 tablets like a Microsoft surface with a detachable or wireless keyboard, so having a touchscreen keyboard is better than no keyboard at all.

That was actually an issue I had recently. My touchpad stopped working but luckily I had my touchscreen to rely on until I could get an external mouse to work. If I didn't have the touchscreen, I would have been in trouble.

I feel another benefit with 2-in-1 tablet laptops is that they are more likely to have 2 or more USB ports compared to some tablets which only have 1 Micro USB, USB-C port or a proprietary Apple Lightning port which is found on Apple iPads.

Using USB ports to hook up a printer is the simplest way to print out a few docments or pictures.
