What!? How is PS3 behind!? It was selling far better than 360 as far as I remember. Ugh, whatever. At least Sony is catching up to Nintendo.

I think Microsoft uses price drops and bundles like the Call of Duty, FF 12 bundle, etc to sell their consoles since you can get an Xbox 360 Arcade for the same price as an PS2 slim which is 99 dollars if you buy the X360 arcade from Amazon or Wal-mart when they are having a sale.

Plus, the 360 has more different types of games for all types of gamers like casual gamers, puzzle gamers, female gamers, and retro gamers.

Older previous played or used Xbox 360 games are also cheaper. I can easily find older Xbox 360 games for 20 dollars or less which been released 2-3+ years a go.

Also, the older Xbox 360 games look better or about the same with older and newer games according to user opinions on Youtube, Yahoo Answers and other social sites.

The PS3 seems to have more games like Shooters, Driving games, Role playing games, sports, and fighting games when ever I walk past the PS3 section at a store. Plus, the prices of older PS3 games can be expensive.

Actually, the 360 has more Shooters than the PS3. It's not often that I find a game for the 360 other than Shooters, which aren't very Casual. But then again, neither does PS3. They aren't a Casual system, they are meant for Hardcore players. And yes, PS3 is more expensive, but 360 has been around longer, and Sony needs money for their losses. once they recover it, I bet that it will be equal prices. And female gamers can play anything. There is not much of a difference between a male and females gaming types, but it's that most females don't usually play games that many males play, or they don't play at all. There are very few female gamers at my school, and the majority of them only play games that I will NEVER play, like Petz or something, or Modern Warfare 2 (no surprise there >_>).

Well, I do agree females can play anything, but from my observations females like cartoony games like Wii sports, Wiifit, Farmville, Guitar Hero, Rock band, etc. I don't see many females playing Lara Croft, Dead or Alive, Halo, Gears of Wars, etc.

Viva Pinata is a type of games some females like to play.

Beautiful Katamari for the 360 is also a game some females enjoy to play.

The Xbox games also seem to be more geared toward Americans with Madden, Nascar, MLB Baseball, EA sports games, War shooting games like Call of Duty, Halo, Gears of war, western cow boy games, fighters like UFC, etc.

I think the reason Microsoft can afford to make console and games cheaper faster is because they are so big and are more concerned about building a large audience then making a lot of money since they already have a lot of money, but if they can maintain a loyal fan base, they can keep making enough money in the long term when Xbox 360 owners buy other products like Windows 7, Zune MP3 players, and many other Microsoft branded merchandise.

Actually, Sony has a higher amount of money than Microsoft, which results in them making things that last, and don't break down often.
