So I'm watching jay leno last night, and during the commercial break they show a movie trailer for a movie called 2012 which is about, you guessed it, the disaster many fear that may happen on 2012 (which won't).

Now I got to admit, it looks pretty good but it's one of these moves based on a single family that seems to make through all this crap. But really, why in hell would they make a movie on this? If nothing else this is just going to make more people scared about this whole 2012 shit.

This won't happen because this shit has been said before:

Year 2000: Better known as Y2K. people thought that there was gonna be a global power surge and that chaos will reign and blah blah blah you know the rest.(didn't happen)

Month 6 Day 6 Year 2006: People thought that the anti Christ will appear and kill everybody.(didn't happen)

And know because of a stupid Mayan calender that ends in December of the year 2012 people are starting to freak out again and start making bullshit stories about what is going to happen.

I saw the trailer and I just have one thing to say: come on people think, the whole ground falling apart and swallowing everything near it. Why is there other people saying that a meteor will hit the earth and destroy or other people saying that a tidal wave will come out of nowhere and swallow everything in its path or even that the sun will heat up all of a sudden and boil everything?

Movie is very outlandish and unrealistic crap if you ask me. Just from the trailers. Everyone gets onto a what alien navel ship designed by US Army how original.

its a movie. it doesnt mean any of this is going to happen, nor does it mean it has to make total sense.
movies are made for enjoyment, not to backup religious theories.

what I am saying that this movie could evoke the hidden fears that many people might have about 2012. Because really, many people are like dogs who want to be lead around.
 
Ha, I'm surprised this film is not being released on 2012.

Not a big fan of disaster films but this one seems interesting.
