This has a lot of promise.

I am not really a fan of DBZ.
For some reason I find it rather slow when it comes to character development,plot..whatnot.

I heard about this a while ago and it looks pretty good. 

I can see why you feel that way honestly. It can be very slow moving with the numerous episodes devoted to a single fight scene with not much else in between, then there are all those evolution that added on to it.

It was a fun series for me. The characters were entertaining, and I used to be really hyped up to see what the next evolution of Super Saiyan was. I really liked the fusion.
