24 is returning with Kiefer Sutherland as the star. Apparently it's going to be shortened from 24 episodes to 12 but still encompass an entire days events with the usual clock progress. Presumably each episode will cover 2 hours instead of 1 hour. I'm not sure about how I feel about it returning yet as I kind of feel it had it's time. But i'm looking forward to see what they do with it and hope it is good.
Although I feel Kiefer should have continued with Touch.
Yeah i'm surprised to, that's why I hope it's worth it. There was gonna be a movie but nothing ever came of it. I'm kind of glad because the whole series was focused around 1 single days events with each episode being 1 hours of that day. The new series is changing that slightly as it will be 12 episodes so each episode covering 2 hours. But for a movie to do it I don't think it would work out very well.
