3D Realms Is Gone!

The rumors are rumors no more. Duke Nukem Forever developer 3D Realms is shutting down, according to a message board post on the company's website by longtime webmaster for the studio Joe Siegler.

3D Realms' website is currently inaccessible because their servers are being pounded, but before the crash, Siegler confirmed suspicions.

"It's not a marketing thing," said Siegler. "It's true. I have nothing further to say at this time."

The fate of Duke Nukem Forever remains up in the air. Take-Two Interactive told me last night it retains the rights to publish Duke Nukem Forever.

No, its not. I know its all been very confusing over the 3D Realms situation though.

3D Realms will continue operating. DNF Team was cut from 3D Realms leaving DNF in Limbo again!! Take Two is fed up though and are sueing Apogee for doing such a thing. They hope to acquire the rights to Duke Nukem series.

I heard it might be back. but theres so much stuff about it you don't know what they mean and what is rumor.
