3DNES emulator?

What are your thoughts on this? It basically tries to render NES games in 3D, straight in the web browser:

Personally, I like the concept, but think the execution leaves a bit to be desired.

I rather enjoy my old games how they are, 2d and side scrolling. Miss those games dearly.

Interesting effort but the effect looks bad due not being able to control the depth of the dimension. It reminds me of when you try to build small stuff in little big planet.
