3DS Already Hacked

Pirates in Japan have already had their way with the 3DS, which has been out in Japan for only one day. Although built to combat piracy, people are already using it with R4 cards according to some Japanese gamers on YouTube. Video after the jump.

Only the DS side of things have been accessed since it's R4, but time will tell if the 3DS side is crackable or not. So for now, you can only "back up" your old DS library. The 3DS software has been bypassed to get the cards running, so I would say this qualifies as a hack, though some might disagree. Gotta be some kind of record for fastest hack ever.

Yeah that's definitely not surprising, it seems like no matter what Nintendo does they're always going to get their consoles and handhelds hacked day one

Good! I didn't like that creepy anti-piracy thing, anyway. Not that I'm advocating piracy, just that I don't think companies should be allowed to do what Nintendo was planning to do/is threatening to do/etc.
