3DS Alternative Chargers

The New 3DS XL which ships tomorrow, doesn't come with an charger and so here is a good cheap alternative to get it charged:

WTF Nintendo? :notright: It's not really common for gadgets to come without a charger... Seriously, how much would it ave costed them to add a charger in the box?

well their reasoning is that this is an upgrade from the 3DS which both use the same charger. I just hope by the end of the year they admit they messed this one up.

I dunno, I am in the understanding that the charger is available for individual sale and pretty affordable so first timer won't shred too much money and people that have been upgrading will be spared another charger.

Unless the store clerks don't explain this situation to potential buyers I think it is not that bad.

Still, probably having both options in display would've been better.

Once again, Nintendo is making retail jobs extremely hard.

That's what I was trying to point out... It would be really annoying to not be informed by the store clerks that it doesn't come with a charger, and when you get home and find out, you have to drive back to the store and get a charger. Spend extra-money on gas and waste another hour just driving back to the store because Nintendo couldn't be bothered to add a charger...

I agree with both of you. This atypical movement should have been a second option instead of the only one.

I do feel for retail people because, after realising this and driving back, customers will leash on them.

When I bought OoT 3ds I wasn't told it didn't include the game (unlike other parts of the world) and found out the same way. Finding out the hard way you are missing important stuff like that makes you feel like you were treated like a fool.
