Nintendo has revealed that the newest 3DS firmware update will be released on December 8th. As the company confirmed last month, the update will add 3D video recording to the 3DS, as well as new Street Pass games including Find Mii 2.
The new firmware will also allow for the transfer of content between multiple 3DS systems. This means that current 3DS owners who purchase new systems will be able to transfer eShop content such as games and videos to their new system.
The new firmware is "in the final stages of internal testing" and will be available for free via a 3DS System Update. The timing coincides nicely with Nintendo's new 3DS bundles, which were confirmed last week.
