In China there’s an even cheaper option. The Ployer MOMO7W is a Windows tablet that sells for just 299 Yuan. That’s about $48 US.

The Ployer MOMO7W features a 7 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, 1GB of RAM. 16GB of storage, and Windows 8.1 software. It also comes with a 1-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365. It has an Intel Atom Bay Trail processor, WiFi, and a microSD card slot.

This looks like a nice tablet for web browsing, music, watching video, and office work.

Crazy how Tablet makers can make a tablet which cost $48. Where other electronics like a good Blu-Ray player or Apple TV settop box cost more than $48.

Wow, that's incredibly cheap, but I seriously doubt it's a quality product. Anything that cheap, coming from China, is bound to be buggy or laggy...
A lot of stuff these days are made in China even big brands like HP, and Dell.

This tablet would probably wont run fast once you open too many programs, apps, games, and files because 1GB of RAM running Windows 8.1 is not enough for some tasks like games,  and running big programs like Photoshop, or video editors.

The 7 inch screen is also a lower resolution screen. But, at least it use an Intel CPU, so it might run ok compared to Chinese and lesser known CPU brands.

It looks okay for someone who doesn't want too much out of a tablet.
I agree this tablet whould be good for users who don't need a very powerful Windows tablet like the Surface Pro 3, and mainly just use their tablet for reading ebooks, eMagizines, watching video, listening to music, and playing games like Facebook and flash games which should run okay on less poweful tablets.
