This is what happens when Intel slashes chip prices and Microsoft starts giving away free Windows licenses for small tablets: Prices fall to crazy lows.
The Emdoor EM-I8170, for example, is a $65 tablet with a 7 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage. It has an Intel Z3735G quad-core Bay Trail processor.

This tablet looks good deal for a $65 Windows 8.1 tablet. It's pretty crazy that this tablet comes with a Quad-Core CPU, and 16GB of storage.
I think if users stick with using a light antivirus like Panda Cloud Antivirus, light web browser like QtWeb, light office suite like Kingsoft Office, and a light video player like Media Player Classic this tablet should perform good enough for the average user. I imagine this tablet should perform pretty well reading eBooks, and eMagazines since a lot of eReaders has less RAM, and a slower CPU.
HP, Dell, Acer, Lenovo, and other Windows 8.1 tablet makers should watchout since these cheap tablets could end up taking away a lot of their buyers because they cost $65 instead of $250 or less like most smaller Windows tablets.
