7000 Episode Anime

Anyone hear of Sazae-san? No? well you should since it's been airing since April 22, 1946 putting it over 7000 episodes currently.

That's really crazy. I thought Detective Conan was the longest but is barely in the top 10. Would anyone start watching Sazae-san from the start?
 
I have heard about this anime from a friend.As it deals with everyday life,some people are quite attached to this anime :)

Well,for some reason people prefer "slice of life" than other genres(this genre deals with our every day life).I wonder why though.
 
Must be one of these shows that while not being necessarily outstanding, manages to keep people interested.

I don't think I could pick it up at this point. Too much to catch up with, and I'd to skip through it and miss out on some backstory or inside jokes.

it must be easy to get into, that many episodes can't still have the original starting fan base.
 
I wonder if I will ever be able to complete watching it...if I were to give it a try for real.
Honestly, I don't think I will ever pick it up because of the scary number.
 
Didn't know about that anime has 7,000 episodes, thanks for the info lol. It'll be cool if that 7,000 started from 1946 make the characters aged and futures real life events. :P
