This looks like a great little, and affordable PC for doing most daily task like typing homework, web browsing, playing video, casual gaming, and basic video editing.

Looks good, although they don't specify what exactly we will be getting for $99.

Thats the maximum specs, but what's the minimum specs?

I checked their previous products and saw that the cheapest ones had no RAM, no SSD and no OS installed, so I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that this is what we'll get for the $99.

I think most likely, you get a lower sized SSD mSATA SSD or no SSD for the $99 version. The website at http://utilite-computer.com also does not really say how much RAM you get in the $99 version, but I guest there would be different models with no RAM or different amount of RAM like 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB depending on price.

I wonder could this computer startup from a MicroSD Memory card, USB external CD/DVD drive, or USB drive to run Ubuntu which can run from a USB drive, CD/DVD, or MicroSD card.

I bet this PC uses regular DDR3 laptop ram, so it should be pretty easy to find cheap used RAM from eBay, or take out a stick of DDR3 RAM from a laptop to use on this computer.

I notice you get a lot of ports, and connections with this computer since it has 2 Gigabit ethernet ports, HDMI, DVI-D, Wifi, 4 USB ports, 2 line-in/SPdif audio ports, USB OTG, and 2 RS232 ports.

It also only uses 3-8W of power.

Still the way they are advertising this can be misleading. I mean from the comments I've read, a lot of people are expecting to get 4GB or RAM and 512GB of storage for $99.
The least they could have done is specify what customers would be getting exactly for these $99.

Here's the order page of their Intense PC.

The lowest priced PC has no RAM, no SDD and no OS installed.
It was the same with all the other PC;s, and I've even seen one with no wireless option and no FACE module installed.
