A analyst who predicted correctly the existence of the PS4 Slim and Pro has suggested that we could see a PS5 as early as next year. I personally don't believe this as the Pro only recently launched and it seemed that it was meant to drag out a console generation for longer rather than come out just before the PS5. Additionally, the existence of games due out in 2018/2019 that have already been announced for the PS4 seems to suggest that we are unlikely to see a new consoles from Sony for a while.
