I don't exactly agree with much of the tone of the article, but it's definitely go one point; all this task of diversity and equal opportunity and 'privilege', and no one mentions the most obvious division of all. That between the rich and poor.
Maybe because a lot of gaming writers come from a fairly wealthy upbringing and don't seem to actually know what hardship means? After all, getting 200 grand from your family to start a business... that's not exactly the norm around here.
