It's basically a logic gate/circuit board setup with Mario Maker objects, that works out the sum of any two numbers by sending shells and bob-ombs flying all over the place. Here's a video:
So yeah, thoughts? Personally, I'm curious what could be done like this in a Super Mario World ROM hack or a Super Mario Bros X episode. I mean, far more level space + lots more custom objects could easily equal a much more advanced calculator or computer. We'd just need someone nuts enough to do that, and anti ASM enough not to just program it into the game...
