I'm willing to bet that they don't show off any new characters and just talk about game modes and a few other various things like new amiibos.

They got to announce at least one character, something to keep building the hype train.

Sadly this direct will air when I'm at work. But I'm also guessing they will announce a Smash bros bundle which once again... bad time for me to be at work.
