Avatar and Signature Sign Up and Q&A

As you all know, we'll be doing a few Christmas things around the place, and one of these things is the humble avatar and signature contest. Below is a list of our current combatants:


Avatar Only Contest

Signature Only Contest

As you can see, unlike previous contests, we've separated the avatar and signature judging. Not much will change of course, and you're free to enter both contests. Here's a quick overview of what to do.

To sign up, simply fill out this form:

You have to post in here to sign up and become eligible.

Sign ups will close on Sunday, 23rd December 2012



What Are The Awards?
There will be three awards:
  • Best Standalone Avatar
  • Best Standalone Signature
  • Best Avatar and Signature Combo
If you enter for just the avatar contest, you'll be judged on only your avatar. If you enter the signature, likewise, you'll be judged only on your signature.

If you enter for both the avatar and signature, you'll be judged on your avatar and signature separately, and also go into the competition for the best avatar and signature combo.

We'll make it so that if somebody wins the avatar and signature combo, they can't win the standalone categories (but we'll be fair about it in the judging process using points to determine who the runner ups and so on are).

Our four judges for this competition will be:

We aren't accepting any more judges, sorry kiddies!



So yeah, that should be it. Just post in here to sign up and I'll add you to the list!

Can't we sign up anyone who posted in the announcement topic or changed their avatar/signature already? Because anyone who says they're changing both is obviously entering the combo contest, right?

It's easier for me if they post here, that way I have an excuse for if I miss anyone (which I most certainly would).

Also, everyone's signed up for the avatar/signature combo award. I'll see how it goes but maybe the standalone avatar and signature awards will get dropped or... I dunno. I'll work on it. Keep on enterin', peeps.

Spoony's still around. I can fill in if anyone wants. I haven't been active for this contest at all so I've decided to drop out.

Is this gonna happen or what? I'd like to know so I can change my sig and avatar to something that isn't outdated.
 
eh. Where do I send the vote? Also, not many of the people that entered still have the same sig and/or avatar. It's not going to be great to have to remember off memory.
