There is a rather new disturbing trend happening, Black Friday is slowly moving over to Thursday on thanksgiving day. I've ready a few articles where people say they plan to skip thanksgiving and just prep themselves for the shopping.

Do you think this is right and should be supported? Or do you think the government needs to step and say that stores need to be closed on the holidays?

I think that the stores should remain closed or at the very least, open way late in the day of Thanksgiving to get an early start on Black Friday but I believe that only managers and seasonal employees and those who want to come in should be there.

I think that people work hard year round and often times it is with very little benefits and incentives like paid sick, personal and/or vacation.. and so for many, holidays is all people have to look forward to. That should not be taken away from them and I would gladly be inconvenienced as a shopper if it would make that possible.

I would also be more inclined to spend more of my money in the stores that would give their employees the day off, since it would be the right thing to do.
