AC New Leaf Clone Glitch

Apparently, a player discovered this bug accidentally and did not hesitate on trying it again.

"What you do is, drop the items off, then the host ends the game. As it saves, [the visitor turns] off the wireless via switch on 3DS. Bam. Duplicated. Cloned."

This has to be made Online, not Local.

Great power, great responsibility.

Seems to be a very picky glitch that is difficult to get to work and can only be done with perfect timing on wifi. So no, I don't think it is worth messing with unless you already have a friend who owns limited release items you can coordinate the glitch with.
