According to the site, Alienware will provide $200 for a working Nintendo Wii, $200 for the "fat" PlayStation 3 with a 60 GB minimum, $200 for the "slim" PlayStation 3 with a 120 GB minimum, $200 for the "super slim" PlayStation 3 with a 500 GB minimum, and $200 for the Xbox 360 with a 250 GB minimum.

After determining how much will be given back, customers then purchase their Alienware PC like the X51 for a starting price of $699 USD. After that, visit the "Trade Up Portal" to provide a copy of the recent Alienware purchase invoice and bank information. Then print the shipping label and instructions to return the old device absolutely free with prepaid shipping.

Alienware buying old consoles for $200 is a pretty good deal for people who plan to trade in their old consoles for a new PC.

After an old console trade in, the Alienware X51 would cost $499 instead of $699, so the X51 would be the same price of the Xbox One, and $100 more expensive than a PS4.

It sounds much better than some of the rip off deals which many game stores tend to give out to buy used games in order for them to sell them at a massive profit.

I agree, those games stores don't give back much money for used consoles, and games. Alienware PCs are more expensive, but I think they are a better deal than Apple desktops and laptops which are very overpriced, and buying PCs from cheaper brands like Acer, Gateway, and HP to use for gaming could be risky because they use cheaper lower quality parts which break faster than Gaming quality parts in an Alienware PC which can handle the heat, and power usage of running newer more intensive games like Crysis 2, and Battlefield 4.
