The attractive Alienware x51 is easy to recommend to anyone willing to pay a little more for the novelty of a competent slim tower gaming desktop.

I like the starting price of 699 up to under a thousand dollars. The Alienware X51 looks good for someone with not a lot of space on their desk, but don't want to settle for a laptop for gaming at home.
I like the case, and that it has a full Gaming videocard install on it.
The video quality of this PC looks pretty good as well.
Looks like a good compact gaming PC without costing a bomb. However, I'd still prefer assembling my own PC as I would get better specifications at the same cost.
I agree you can make a better computer for the price, but it might be difficult building a computer so slim and portable, but with the performance of a gaming PC since most Slim PC cases can't fit a Full Gaming Video Card which takes up two Expansion slots, and more space.
