Chinese chip maker Allwinner announced plans in January to build a 64-bit ARM Cortex-A53 processor that would sell for just $5.

Now the company says mass production of the Allwinner A64 chip is set to begin in June which means we could see low-cost devices powered by this processor in the second half of 2015.

This looks like a nice cheap 64bit Chip for installing on those cheap Chinese Google Android game consoles which come pre-loaded with emulators for the N64, SNES, Playstion, and other consoles.

thats good, PC parts cost too much these days.
I think it is also the stores which raises prices of PC parts to sell to people for higher prices than things are worth.

Some stores here sell things like USB cables for $30.

Sadly, I feel stores will sell devices with this chip for a lot more money, so they earn more money.

I can see best buy doing it.

I think it was Futureshop which is owned by Bestbuy, and sells expensive cables. But, Bestbuy closed all Futureshop stores, and converted them to Bestbuy stores in Canada.
