Were you waiting to pick up a Fire TV from Amazon? You waited too long! The device is currently listed as out of stock on Amazon, and is of course unavaialble elsewhere. Don’t worry, though — it’s coming back soon.
 
The device is currently noted to be returning on April 18, or just a week away. You can still order the amazon branded streaming media device, but it won’t ship. That’s going to be frustrating for Prime members who are used to tow-day shipping. For what it’s worth, you can still order Amazon’s proprietary game controller for the Fire TV.

Most likely the cheap $99 price, and that it has free to play games, and cheap games which cost $1-5+. It can also stream Netflix, Amazon video, Hulu, Crackle, and many other video streaming service.

It seems like a cool idea. I'm sure it will be sold out again in the near future. Are the free games on it any good or are they crappy cheap games?  I've never heard of this before and I might check into it.

There are some good free games from the list of free games like Gameloft's Asphalt 8, Riptide GP2, Reaper,Dead Trigger 2, Sonic CD, Arc Squadron: Redux, and Sev Zero (comes free with controller purchase)
