This makes owning the Kindle Fire more worth it for people who just use it to play games on it rather then using it to read and watch movies on the go.
Amazon seems to be trying to get into the gaming entertainment industry as well as eBooks, MP3s, Apps, digital Movies, and eMagazines. I wonder if this means Amazon will come out with a cloud gaming console or handheld since Amazon has the power to host high quality online games on their website.
I think Amazon Kindle Fire can still sell a lot of Tablets to casual everyday buyers even without GPS and location services by selling a cheaply priced tablet which is fast enough to handle most of the apps for Android including some 3D games, and is good enough for eBooks, movies, Apps, and Games on the go, and it is one of the best or best selling Android Tablets.
Adding more features will most likely raise the price, and make fewer people buy it, and buy an iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tablet or Google Nexus 7 tablet instead.
The Kindle Fire is Amazon number 1 selling electronic device at Amazon.com. I think one of the main reason it is number 1 is because it is cheap, and has most of the features people are looking for. Amazon also has Amazon Movie, TV, and Music MP3 streaming, and Amazon Prime which are attractive to people who are looking for an alternative to Netflix, and Spotify music streaming.
