That’s the Government’s plan, but Tiktok is currently fighting them in court on that matter. Not sure if we’ll see anything happen to Tiktok or not since its election year.

If you are willing people try to sell you gadgets on YouTube from Amazon shorts too. I think the ads are irrelevant and will tell people with word of mouth if the quality or use case is of a fair enough worth buying here compared to anywhere else.
