Normally I don't even care for AMVs, but this is a particular series of videos that I still like to watch on occasion.
To give you the lowdown...
AMV Hell:
For their first try, it isn't too bad. But it isn't noteworthy in my opinion. A few of the jokes fall flat to me.
AMV Hell 2: Son of AMV Hell:
Just as short as the first one, but more entertaining. The intermissions with the infamous freeze frame scene from Neon Genesis Evangelion's 24th episode being parodied are classic. It's also a little more raunchy than the first AMV Hell
AMV Hell 3: The Motion Picture:
Now they turned it into a franchise. There's a lot of greats in this edition of AMV Hell. It's also the first one I watched out of all of them.
AMV Hell 4: The Last One:
It WAS supposed to be the finale, but things turned out differently. They started to incorporate more new anime (at the time), like Death Note and others. Still a solid watch and comes with some great moments.
AMV Hell 5edicated to Dio:
I'm not gonna post the video here, because I'm lazy. AMV Hell 5 does have some good stuff, but you can tell that the quality has waned. Some gags are reused and some anime appear too much. You can watch it if you want, but it's not as great as the previous three AMV Hells.
I only watched AMV Hell 6.66 (and it's original version) once and have not rewatched them yet, so I can't say much about them.
