animal lovers

ah yes animal lovers, you love your pets as if they were the sun and moon. you love them more then your life, your husband and even your kids. heck you spend millions of dollars on them, WTF!

seriously, what is wrong with you people? You love them more then your own kids? that is not right. I just talked to my cousin and his cat should be put down due to failing health but his mom refuses to do it. I feel that these people need therapy. what are your thoughts on these type of people.

I love animals myself (I'm even a vegetarian). I, however, wouldn't let an animal suffer through days filled with pain. I don't have kids/wife, but I pretty much love most living beings more than myself, but then again I have different philosphical views on life and death, but I digress. I doubt I'd spend millions of dollars on an animal. True animal lovers know that animals want to be loved and taken care of, not pampered and obsessed over. Thats what my experience tells me at least.

I have always loved animals. I was in agriculture for about 6 years and had a goat, lamb, and a cow. I even took care of llamas. It was a blast. But I never let animals get between family. That is just not right.

Not a huge fan of the animal lovers, vegetarianism is fine by me (but my god, you people take it too seriously), but veganism?! f*** you guys who follow that bullshit.

I'm fine with animals, especially ingesting them too.

Erm, excuse me but veganism isn't bullshit and is more sane than vegetarianism as vegetarianism contributes to the meat industry to via eggs and milk consumption.

As for the OP. I personally love animals more than humans because I've witnessed and experienced first hand the cruelty of humans - not to the full extent at which some humans and animals have experienced, but I've experienced enough shit in my life from humans to know I can't stand most humans. They're a few good ones...but very few.

Your example shows someone who obviously is finding it hard to make the right decision due to being scared of losing 'someone' they love. I'm sure if we had to do it for humans (which some humans do do) it'd be just as hard a decision. I dread the day when my animals get so ill I have to decide their fate. I've already lost one animal and I don't particularly want to experience that grief again, but I know I will someday.

Sometimes I love animals for than humans too. Because... god I'm not even gonna go into why, but sometimes I just hate ALOT of people... And I'd much rather be a cat or dog than a human. But I would be cool if I was a cat or dog that could talk, play guitar, and play videogames
