Anime Conventions

I’ve been to quite a few. Where I live there’s two, one in the early summer and one during Labor Day weekend.
When I lived in Atlanta, I went to AWA. It was fun, but what was awkward was that some of the tables selling home videos don’t really separate anime from hentai. I shit you not the middle of the table had Pokémon, Yugioh, and some Ghibli discs, and when I was walking to the right hand side of the table, the titles got more and more suspicious until it became blatantly obvious. Like Jesus, have a divider or something.
It’s different when you’re intentionally looking for that stuff, but awkward as fuck when you’re not.

lol, Anime Zing had no filters at all, one moment you're looking at normal pictures and then hentai stuff.
Yo, the artists kept the bits covered! I think the animecon.org cons do an incredible job of keepin both minors and adults safe. Remember the ID struggle at the Hazbin panel? They go hard on crackin down on that stuff ta keep kids outta adult spaces.
I liked Planet Funk Con and Animezing! It sucks that AZ didn’t have as many celeb guests this year, but ya gotta remember that those guys put on multiple cons every year. Their big ones are in Chicago and Minneapolis. I’ll take ya to those one day, DS.
