My sister wants to give away her anime collection of more than 650 figures to regular kids....
I really don't know what to say to it.
I really don't know what to say to it.
I know.Well if she doesn’t want it anymore, then why hold onto it?
I know.
But that merchandise is like 2000k dollars. She could easily get good toys for those regular kids instead of giving the collectables away
Hmm...I suppose.Sometimes it’s easier to just give things away than selling it. Especially if we’re talking about 650 items of (relatively) random anime stuff.
Selling an assorted collection is kind of difficult because you have a very small pool of people the collection will appeal to. So you’ll either sell it to a store for a massive loss, or you have to sell them individually, or in groups.
Did she get them all in a short amount of time? It’s pretty common to have a burnout if you got that many items very quickly.Hmm...I suppose.
It's just that, all of them are authentic Japanese items and I just can't believe she lost interest in them just like that
Yeah, she got all of them on a span of around 4 years and she keeps telling me that she lost interest in such thingsDid she get them all in a short amount of time? It’s pretty common to have a burnout if you got that many items very quickly.
Also I’m just making assumptions here off of your comments, but you see these as valuable collectors items, but maybe she doesn’t see them as such, or at least not anymore. You’ll see that in different collector scenes where you have someone who just bought something cuz they thought it looked cool, but doesn’t know the collector’s value, and this drives the collectors up the wall.
I agree with thatEach their own, but should sell that for money.
Exactly. I really wish she would do that but I don't think she will.I feel she should of tried selling the anime figures on eBay for money, and use the money to buy toys which kids want, or use the money for something else.
