I wanna unlock Shampoodle, and I don't have the patience to just wait 10 days after I got Animal Crossing: New Leaf, so I went forward in time. Anyone else not having the patience to unlock something?
Yeah I don't know why they thought having to wait and unlock stuff would be a cool idea. All the stuff you unlock in ACNL is the basic stuff you could do from the get-go on ACCF.
I'm surprised they didn't make you wait 3 days until you could use the train station LOL.
You know, I don't really mind the fact that you have to wait X amount of days until you can upgrade Y store, because Animal Crossing isn't really a game in which I am trying to progress rapidly. My play style typically consists of starting the game up when I have some free time and completing all my (for lack of a better comparing word) chores. Dig up all the fossils, buy out all the stores, donate anything I have to Blathers, sell anything I don't want to Re-Tail, find the money/ore rock, shake all my trees, check for visitors... and after all this I will play for maybe 30 or 60 more minutes to do anything else I feel like doing. Maybe catch a few bugs or fish, or speak to my neighbors.
I guess because I have this routine I know I'm going to unlock everything eventually, but more importantly to me, I think that I am enjoying the game at a steady pace so I don't get burnt out on it too fast. In Wild World, I didn't have this problem because I was in sort of a first love with the game and there was nothing for me to get burnt out on. That is why I time traveled in that game. But with City Folk, I would time travel so much that the game got boring for how fast I could progress it. So that is why I'm taking New Leaf a bit slower than I normally would.
I don't have much patience but I am not entirely bad either.
It's just that I hate waiting quite a bit...but if the situation is unavoidable...then I would accept it.
