I came across this DRM issue when I want to import some WMP music to my new iPod?
the iTunes can't convert the WMA to MP3 automatically, it popped up a window said the WMA is protected?
If any method or program could help me that would be very appreciate.
You can use Windows Media Player to burn your DRM WMA files to a CD for listening on a regular CD.
Once you finish burning the Songs to CD. The songs will be in a a CDA (wav) format.
Use CDex, or someother CD ripping program to rip your songs to MP3.
You may have to readd the name of the artist, title, and album name in the MP3 id tag.
It is a long process, but it works. I recommend using a CD-RW disk instead of a CD-R disk because you can erase a CD-RW and reuse up many times unlike a CD-R that you can only use once.
