Yes, I am using Windows 8, and it runs pretty well on my older computer with only 1GB of RAM, and a Dual Core 1.86 GHZ CPU which is using onboard video and sound.

Firefox and other programs also seem to run a little faster in Windows 8 then 7.

I will most likely never try this. I'm good with W7.

The mouse scrolling, and opening Windows programs seem faster in Windows 8. I like the new copy and paste window since I can now pause, and resume copy and paste.

The Microsoft Market App store is also pretty cool. I found a few cool free games in Windows 8 App Store. Sadly, Fruit Ninja, and Angry Birds are paid apps, and there are no free ad-supported versions.

Windows 8 also comes with a built-in Antivirus, firewall, and other security software which are easy to use.

I also like the new Modern tile user interface because it makes looking for programs a lot easier for me instead of the old style desktop in Windows 7 which after a while becomes full of icons, files, folders, and widgets which make finding apps harder on the screen.

Windows 8 also starts up, shutdowns, and restart faster then Windows 7 for me. Plus, I notice 8 also freeze less.
