Anyone using Windows 7 with CRT?

I am old school and dabble in both species of monitors. My CRT monitor, a 22 inch Gateway is what I use with Windows 7 for article writing, artwork, graphic design, review writing, and just posting on forums or what have you. I have found that CRT's render colors better and more normal than flat screens. They render text better as well. And the scrolling keeps everything good looking. With flat screens, sometimes when you scroll up or down pages? The text darkens as you scroll. Kind of like the old movie projectors.

Flat screens are awesome for gaming or watching movies in DIVX streaming and such. But I still love and keep my crt. It works so I am not gonna throw it out just because. Variety is nice, and my CRT reaches 1600x1200 display as its high, and can go up to 120 hertz refresh rate. Anyone else have Windows 7 or 8 and still use their CRT for certain tasks?

I still have a computer which runs Windows XP which uses a 17 inch CRT Tube monitor. I notice that colors are a lot richer, brighter, and blacks are blacker without white patches on the edges of the screen like some LCD monitors.

I also like that you can change the resolution to a lower resolution for playing more video quality intensive games. With an LCD, if you are not using the regular/maximum resoloution for video, sometimes the picture quality looks fuzzy, and hard to view.

I don't have a crt monitor in my computer.
