AOL is trying a new tack to pull themselves from the slump they've been in since most of the world realized that they're not the only game in e-town. The mammoth internet company will be giving away PlayStation 3 consoles for people who sign up for two years worth of their monthly broadband package.
There are a couple of problems with this deal. First is the fact that you're tied into the same technology for the next two years, so, if the internet were to get radically faster or something, you'd still only be able to use the technology that AOL provides right now. The other problem is that the deal is only available in the UK, so you're going to have to move to England to get it.
