Apex Legends Season 5 is beginning a bit later than anticipated, starting today, May 12, which is a week after the date that was originally assumed. Season 5 adds Loba as a playable character (whose abilities have been revealed) and a brand-new PvE, story-driven Quests mode. An official release time hasn't been confirmed, but if tradition holds, you can expect the Season 5 update to launch at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. We'll report back once the patch is released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Loba's entrance into the Apex Games will also lead to the in-game destruction of a notable Kings Canyon landmark, as seen in the Season 5 launch trailer.
The Season 4 battle pass is scheduled to conclude on May 12 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST. The battle pass will be locked at that point and you'll no longer be able to complete Season 4 daily and weekly challenges. So if you haven't finished the current battle pass and you still want some of those rare, epic, and legendary rewards, you have less than a month to do so.
