I notice that most of the top PC makers like Lenovo, HP, Dell, and Acer sell cheap computers because a lot of their computers, laptops, and tablets are sold for under $300.
I think one of the reasons Asus is no longer in the top 5 is because a lot of Windows PC makers sell cheap PCs with older PC parts, or less powerful parts, so they can sell PCs for $250 like Dell. People who don't know much about computers buy the cheapest PC instead of paying a little more for a better PC made by Asus, and other PC makers which sells PCs for a little more.
I bet in the future Apple will be in the Top 3 PC vendors list because more people will be building their own computers or asking their friends and relatives like kids to build a PC from PC parts to install Windows, Linux, etc rather than buying a computer from a PC maker because PCs from PC makers are expensive, and lower quality than buying your own parts like RAM, CPU, motherboard, etc to build a PC.
A lot of people who buy Apple PCs are huge Apple fans like the people who line up for weeks to buy the latest iPads, and iPhones, so many people with iPhones and iPads will most likely also buy an Apple PC because they are huge Apple fans,
