Get on board, everyone! It's time to sue Apple and I got the bandwagon all ready!

This week's lawsuit comes from the California Center for Environmental Health, which is claiming that the iPhone contains harmful "phthalate" contents.

These "phthalates," which are not made up, are illegal according to California Proposition 65.

The CEH, however, hasn't even confirmed that the iPhone contains any of these naughty chemicals.

They are working off of the assumption that they are in the iPhone based on the findings of Greenpeace. Greenpeace found compounds and chemicals in the iPhone that are going to be outlawed in 2008. The iPhone currently meets the strictest standards and Apple maintains that they will remove these compounds by 2008.

The CEH has begun testing for phthalates and expects to have results within 60 days. They just wanted to sue now so they would be the first.

If they find nothing, we're going to get a lot of enjoyment out of the all-natural, organic, free-range egg on their face.

apple had one great day with there Iphone and that was the day it was sold on. now there getting sued and angry people right and left

If they are already illegal in California, this could get interesting. I wonder when they'll know if the iPhone has them in it. I also wonder what Apple will do.
