Apple TV+ recently announced a programming deal with Peanuts Worldwide and Lee Mendelson Film Productions, combining original content with beloved Peanuts specials.
As part of its deal, a handful of animated Peanuts originals will be produced by WildBrain’s animation studio and will drop exclusively on the streaming network.
Peanuts' new content will include a second season of the Daytime Emmy-nominated Snoopy in Space series, as well as a roster of specials, featuring Charlie Brown and friends celebrating Mother’s Day, Earth Day, New Year’s Eve and Back to School.
The new animated series and specials will join the previously announced The Snoopy Show, a brand-new Peanuts 70th-anniversary documentary film and the Daytime Emmy Award-winning Peanuts in Space: Secrets of Apollo 10. Peanuts classics such as A Charlie Brown Christmas, Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown are also headed to Apple TV+ over the next few months.
