Appropriate age to start playing video games?

We all started playing video games at different ages. It's very rare for us to have one fixed age that all of us started playing video games. At what age do you think is the most appropriate for anyone to start playing video games?

I think age 5 or 6 maybe best for playing educational video games like math and English video games on a computer, console, or tablet.

Mobile phone games have even made it possible for kids as young as 2 years to start playing all sorts of games on it.
