I think a fighting game will give you that first.

I HATE FIGHTING GAMES. I refuse to get any again. I'm only keeping Mortal Kombat 9 for my 360, and Brawl for the Wii. NOTHING ELSE!

Later parts of the easiest difficulty can be hard for most people. I had a good bit of difficulty on the hardest from the beginning, and it only ever got much worse. Later parts of the game could make you cry. Stay away from the second game though, it's not made by Crytek, it's made by Ubisoft, and it's shit.

I agree with this article,alot of games are step by step. You rarely find tough games like MGS4 or Dark Souls anymore.

Far Cry 1 would be worth it. Far Cry 2, it would be a complete waste of money.

I think it looks good, it's just that I'm not sure how it'll be. And the reviews are most likely biased. It's nothing like the first game at all.

I really don't mind Hard games sometimes. Atleast you have some challenge in game and that also builds up the fun factor!

I personally don't think gamers are getting soft. I like a game with toughness in it too and I'm a girl so yeah.And the games the blog was talking about, looks like the genre I'd like to play.
