Are soundtracks important to you?

In video games do you pay much attention to the soundtracks? To me they are a big part of the experience and I love it when they are able to create a certain feeling inside which matches that of the character you are controlling, whether that be tension or something else. 

Soundtracks are underrated in video games in my opinion though, often they are ignored or taken for granted.

They are not important to me, but if they complement the game well that's always nice.
