Yes, I find the modem and router combo device which my ISP rents to me as a free rental is good. It has dual-band wireless N signal with 2.4 GHz and 5GHz, 2 long wireless antennas, 4 port wired switch built-in, and it never disconnected on me when I was using it.

Its wireless connection is also fast enough to play online multiplayer games on my wireless devices like tablets, and laptop.

The wired and wireless signal, and speed are good where I get the full advertised speed of my 15 mbps internet package which I am subscribe to.

Not really sure, I'm not really into the whole modem tech thing to see how it stacks against others.

I'm not sure different brands of modems make a huge difference in speed because the internet service provider limit my download maximum speed to 15 mbps, and upload to 1 mbps, so I feel I never will reach the max speed of my modem which is probably 100 mbps if it uses a 100 mbps networking port.
